30 Day Shred {Week 2}

Welcome to the 2nd Week of the 30 Day Shred Challenge. I am so glad you are joining us. I can’t wait to hear how you all are doing with this challenge. I know it is not easy but it will be worth it.

My goal was to do it this weekend but we ended up leaving for Philly Friday night and didn’t get home till late Sunday.  I hopped back into it on Monday and felt great. The good thing about this weekend is we did A LOT of walking. Yesterdat I moved up to Level Two of the 30 Day Shred because I didn’t feel challenged anymore.  I will keep up with Level Two until I don’t feel challenge. Level Two was tough! I was sweating and feeling like I was going to die at the end. That is what Jillian wants though.

My Goals for next week:

  • NO Skipping Days
  • Drink more water
  • Eat Healthier {Philly was rough on my eating habits}
  • Add in extra ab workouts. I don’t feel like I am getting enough ab exercises in and that is my bad zone.

Next week if you would like to some of us are going to take a photo with/or of an outfit, pair of pants, shirt or dress. That you would like to fit in. Could be a pair of favorite jeans, or a shirt that you think would look better, etc. Just include it with your blog post next week.

So go ahead write up your blog post with your weekly goals, accomplishments, set backs etc. Then grab the button below add it to your post and link directly to your post below.

  1. I Need to copy your list of goals for next week! :)

    I had a terrible weekend, so i think i really need to throw in a few extra workouts this week, to burn off all the crap i ate/drank over the weekend.

    Level 2 is certainly tough!
    Looking forward to reading next weeks post.

  2. yay! week 2!

  3. I’ve been forcing myself to stick with Level 2, and those v-raise-squat-things towards the end are KILLING me. Thanks a lot, Jillian. UGH.

  4. I am so not looking forward to Level 2! And I agree with the abs. I don’t feel that I get enough ab work in either, so i add some of my own.

    I’ve got my outfit picked out for next week, however I won’t be fitting into it anytime too soon. It is my goal outfit!

  5. Glad to hear you hopped back on the Shred Monday morning despite the weekend away! That’s usually my issue…I leave for a few days, and then fall of the train. :)

  6. I have to agree with you Level 2 is tough… I can’t wait to start it tomorrow… thanks for hosting this challenge.. I feel so motivated

  7. Thats awesome! I wish I had gotten in on this when you guys started. Keep up the great work. I know it’ll pay off!

  8. I feel like I need to do a little extra. My stomach is by trouble spot and feel like it needs a little more attention!

  9. I’m in the same boat, it was hard to do it over the weekend, but I am going to try to do every day this week. I am also on level 2 now and it is much more difficult, I am sore! :)

  10. Way to go bumping up to Level 2. I remember the first time I switched from Level 1 to 2. I almost died….ok not really, but I couldn’t believe how much harder Level 2 was compared to Level 1. Making the switch from 2 to 3 is not as bad.

  11. I can’t wait to hear how you do on this! I just posted earlier this week my thoughts on a workout DVD I am reviewing. It is a 6 week program and I am on week 2. My goal is definitely more water too. When you work those muscles really hard and get super sore, your muscles retain water and you don’t lose weight. So I am chugging water.

    Good luck!!
